Lanikai Beach Balinese Featured in Honolulu Magazine

Honolulu magazine explores the ins and outs of the architect/owner relationship in building a custom home in Lanikai. The collaboration proved to be successful taking into consideration not only the owner’s desires and needs, but also sensitivity to location and historical aesthetics. Mahalo Hawaii Deep Sea Water Bar, designed by PVA, opens in Waikiki amid much fanfare. Although the product is bottled in Hawaii, it has not until now been available in the U.S. As the product debuts here, it continues to garner attention from the local and national media. The showroom in Waikiki is the company’s first to open in the United States. The design is highly recognizable for it’s signature effervescent water tanks.

PVA Moves Up on PBN’s Book of Lists

PVA moves up on Pacific Business News’ annual publication of Hawaii business leaders. We are #18 among architecture firms on the island of Oahu, up from #20 last year as ranked by billing. Two PVA projects also received notoriety: the Sheraton Waikiki Guestroom Renovations is #17 among commercial construction projects, ranked by building permit value, and the Lanikai Beach Grand Cottage is #17 among residential real estate transactions, ranked by price.
